Tom and Tracy had an intimate ceremony at the little Blue Church (aka St. Peters) right on the water in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii. After the ceremony we headed over to the Four Seasons Hualalai for some sunset photos on the beach. Tom and Tracy are from Chicago, so we had plenty to chat about and I felt lucky to be part of such a private and emotional day. When they settled down for dinner on the beach and it was time for me to head out I was completely bowled over by the beauty of Hawaii and how blessed I am. I'll never forget how it felt to be standing on that beach at that moment. It was my last day on the Big Island for that visit and one of the most beautiful sunsets I've seen in years. The next morning I hopped on a plane back to San Francisco.

I think of music, dance, laughter, empathy, and immense bravery and strength. Love this girl.
